The point is, Minnesota, if they do decide to trade him, will get a good return, but it won't be an astronomical return because of where he is contractually.
Not the greatest and most optimal of situations for the Wild if it comes to that, but it's not going to be detrimental to the organization if they do decide that they have no other choice but to go this route.
But I think Carolina would absolutely have interest.
