But, you know, for the team, I just felt it was so good.
You know, because everybody would come and have a good, like a release, I suppose, on a Tuesday.
Yeah, a little bit.
We didn't talk a lot about football, though.
Right.
You know, it was just about going out and having a laugh, you know, or...
If somebody had a bad game or something, there'd be a little bit of mickey taking, you know, and then that like brings it out and it's like, oh, come on, like next game.
You know, it was that sort of vibe about it.
It was never really, I can't remember as getting into trouble, you know, like with scuffles or anything like that.
It was just mainly like good fun.
And so did Arsene then ban Tuesday Club when he became the manager?
No, he didn't ban it.
But the fact was that we started, because we started playing more games now, that the Wednesday was hardly ever off.
And then the other thing was is that if you'd had a few the night before and you turned up in training, you stood out like a sore thumb.
Because it was so intense.
Because most of the other ones weren't on it.
They'd not had a drink and it was so intense.
So it just like slowly faded out.
But he didn't say, right, no drinking or anything like that, because even straight after a game, we'd be straight to the bar and have a few beers and then get back on the coach.
And he knew exactly what we were doing, but he managed it so well that he didn't upset us that way, because I hear managers coming in and banning red sauce and all these sort of normal things that we do.
