But, you know, we're 15 years down the line or more.

Well, because previously to my dad being diagnosed, my mother-in-law died of bowel cancer.

And, you know, that was like a real shock because she, you know, like she always seemed healthy.

You know, but then, you know, she was the type of lady that wouldn't, she didn't want to have any treatment or anything, you know, and just gave up.

But I don't know, you know, just didn't want to go through all this chemo and all that sort of thing.

Which is understandable for some people.

And then it took her away.

You know, so then that was like my first experience of it, you know, and how quick it can happen.

And she was a nurse as well.

So she knew what was going on.

So then that's when I started getting involved a little bit.

And then obviously then my dad getting it.

Then I met Stephanie.

It was just one of those things where I really wanted to do this because obviously I'm now really passionate about it.
