Bullpen days at Yankee Stadium.

It's that easy.

That simple to split two at Yankee Stadium.

Just run all your bullpen arms out there.

They did it in the ALDS.

The Blue Jays did it again yesterday.

On their way to a 2-0 victory against the Yankees, they salvage a 2-2 series split.

Didn't look like it was going that way after tough, close losses Monday and Tuesday.

Ended up being a very fun series.

All four games were very tight, very nerve-wracking.

very thin on bullpen arms at times for each team, but the Jays pull out two of them.

That means they finished that road trip four and three.

I would say vibe wise it at no point in that road trip felt like things were going particularly well, but you take four or seven on a road trip against Detroit and the Yankees, even with Detroit, not playing very good baseball right now.

I think anyone would take that.

And yeah, the Jays are still four games under 500, but they remain only a game and a half back of the wild card spot.

They have Pittsburgh and Miami.

both of whom are a little pluckier than maybe you would have expected, but those are winnable home series as well.

And then back on the road against the Orioles for four who are in a mess of a spot right now, once again, to where national baseball writers are like, well, they should give the job to Cal Ripken so that he can fix things.

It's a tough spot.

Anyway, the Jays at Pittsburgh, we will set that series up.
