I think Stephen Kenny brought it back to a slightly more positive place than what it was before that.

But now it seems to have gone up another level.

Yeah, I think this is like another new era of supporting this Irish football team.

I know some people criticise the amount of people that went to Prague for the game.

But I think just...

People want to be part of a moment.

And in sport, unfortunately, unless you're supporting Real Madrid, Barcelona, I don't know, Manchester City and Liverpool and Manchester United in years gone by, those teams kind of win all the time.

But most of sport is disappointing.

And what we felt...

last Thursday in the penalty shootout and what we even felt last night when we seen Cechi go through on penalties against Denmark like those sickening moments will make those good moments even sweeter and unfortunately you just have to suffer as an Irish football fan you don't get the chance to sign someone you don't get the chance to be at every major tournament like some of the big nations out there but that's going to make it all the sweeter it's going to make it all the better for when we do get there and like

you know, we should get to Euro 2028.

We will have games here in Dublin and providing we have a good run in the group and we finish high enough, we'll have playing home games here in Dublin for that tournament.

It's a really exciting couple of years.

Okay, we have the friendlies of Grenada and Qatar and Canada and different countries over the next couple of months and that's going to be a bit of a pain.

We're going to have, you know, the debacle that's going to happen in the Nations League, but we will get to that.

But for the next two years, this is such an exciting time to be part of this Irish team going forward.

And we're going to hear all the commentaries here live on Off the Ball over the next three years.

So all the way up to 2028 and beyond, yeah, we'll be the home of Irish football.

And it's an exciting time.

The players are at a great age, like you've got Parrott and Collins and Jake O'Brien and Queevan Gellar.
