So I really enjoy that part of the game.
And the coaches out here have been amazing, too.
They've been helping me out with my routines and kind of keeping me like, all right, if I'm touching the mound in between my outings, all right, not too much, you know.
But they help me refine the change-ups in curveball.
And they've been really helpful with the fastball shape, actually, with β
some of the orientation of the seams and stuff like that.
So it's been amazing.
Yeah, it's just to get more vert.
I was a very big vert guy when I got into pro ball and slowly that's been kind of going back and forth throughout the seasons and within a season.
And we're just trying to really zone in on what it is that makes it ride really well, because
But with the way my efficiency of the fastball is, I backspin it really well.
It's just the seams of how I hold the ball that make it ride sometimes and sometimes not.
So it's just getting consistent and aware of, like, where do my fingers need to be on the ball?
Because the way I release it is fine.
It's just kind of the orientation of the seams that they're trying to get me on.
And it's not so easy to do that with just your naked eye as a pitcher.
So I definitely need those guys to help me out with that.
Yeah, I was in the office with Pete and Schneid's and they just said, yeah, like right off the bat, it's like we're going to option you.
You know, it's not performance related.
