And we would reunite there.
I'd take across some bears and then I would leave.
What happened?
That was the plan.
So Tenby had been delayed.
The truck had broken down in Germany.
So by the time that Tenby had arrived, I had been reunited with Yuri, the Channel 9 news crew, which was amazing.
And then Yuri thought I was staying and I had to leave.
And so I went back to Poland for a few days.
And then it was about nine hours to cross the border.
It was very convoluted to get across.
And so we eventually got across and
We're driving a truck and Tembi says to me, Deb, will you drive the truck?
I'm exhausted.
And I went, okay, I've never driven a truck before.
You'll have to tell me what to do.
So I start driving this truck.
We pulled up to get petrol and we're chugging down the road a couple of hours into Ukraine and all of a sudden the truck breaks down again.
And we're stuck in the middle of Ukraine.
It's getting close to curfew.
