And the decision had been made.
And he goes, if you hadn't fought as hard as you did, you would have been gone.
And I'm so proud of you.
Yeah, I guess I was.
Although at the same time, once the decision had been made, the thing that attracted me to the job was
You know, there was over kind of 300 different areas you could go and work in if you didn't like something.
Like what other job gives you that opportunity?
And so I'm not sure.
I guess it was a level of maturity that came on me very quickly.
We were family.
There was absolutely no doubt about it.
We had, you know, I smile now when I look at the age that I'm at, but we had an older man and an older female that we called mum and dad of the squad.
In their 30s.
Yeah, I think they might have been early 40s.
Ancient.
Yeah, very ancient.
But we absolutely became a family and I still say to this day I really miss the job.
There is no other organisation or career where you truly do form that brotherhood and sisterhood and whether or not you like the person,
you know that you would give your life for them, you know, should that be required.
And the bond is incredibly special.
