And typically they'd just say, yeah, when can you come in?

And I would organise a time and then we would go and have the interview.

And this particular day I came in and it was quite frantic around the squad room.

And all of a sudden the inspector grabbed me and he said, oh, Deb, I want you to call this particular organisation today.

And I said, okay, boss.

And so I went out to sit in the squad room to make the call.

And he goes, no, no, no, I want you to make the call in my office.

And that was unusual.

And so I made the call and he shut the door and I'm thinking, okay, this is a little bit weird.

And he was standing outside the door.

And it was the first time I'd been asked so many questions on the phone and like really detailed questions, like what were my measurements?

How many men had I slept with?

What did I like doing or not doing?

And I eventually got off the phone after about 15 or 20 minutes and I had organised to meet them at a 7-Eleven shop, which was also very strange.

And as soon as I opened the door, the inspector said, have we got them?

Are we on?

And I went, yeah, three o'clock today, boss at blah, blah, blah, 7-Eleven.

And so he's kind of...

walked out into the squad room and gone, it's on.

And then there was this hive of activity with the guys running around.
