It's kind of like the trump card.
It's like you have these conversations with religious people and you stump them on logic and they go, well...
Lord works in mysterious ways.
And it's just like, it's like, what's the smartest guy that just came out as like the highest IQ in the world, right?
And he said, I believe in God.
So all these religious people are like, see, the smartest person in the world believes in God.
And you're saying, but...
I thought you only cared about faith, and I thought you didn't care about evidence.
So it's this whole thing of, well, if you have me stumped on evidence, then I'm going to tell you it's all about faith.
But then, oh, my God, if someone comes along and there's evidence to prove that God exists, they jump on that so quickly because ultimately they know that it is logic and it is reason that is more powerful than faith.
So when I see that inconsistencyβ That's not why they do it, but they do it because that's what everybody banters to a lot of people.
Evidence is powerful.
And faith will only take you so far.
And as soon as some evidence comes along, you're like, yes, I was right.
I wasn't crazy.
I wasn't wrong.
So if that was really the case, it's just like you would be consistent.
And that's what I'm trying to say is that I look at religious people and how they argue, and I just don't feel that there's intellectual honesty.
I don't feel that there's consistency.
I would agree with that.
