And my grandma genes get all fired up.

I'm like, oh, that's so awesome.

Let me see your child dancing to Taylor Swift.

It's joy.

It's autistic joy that's coming out of this newer population.

And so that's why much of our community is pushing back on these highly stigmatizing languages, assigning tragedy mindsets to this population.

When we experience access to communication, unconditional love, and meaningful usable supports, we have healthy, well-adjusted, but autistic people.

And that's a good thing.
