I'm so happy for him because like, I get it.
He's the marquee signing.
I get it.
But he clearly walked into a fucking basket case.
Like, let's be real here.
And it's not like we're not, Atkinson's not an origin player.
Like he's another guy that was essentially a fringe Sharkies player.
I know he was on the bench, but he couldn't get a start there.
And so, like, yes, this is a professional sport and yes, he gets paid a lot.
But to a degree, there was a bit of unfair pressure on what he was supposed to do for this squad considering the weapons he had.
And I'm not excusing the bad form that he had for periods.
I'm not saying that.
But I'm just saying, like...
