I totally understand.
That's so frustrating as a team, as a fan.
But it's kind of like...
There's got to be some middle ground.
Like I do think there are extreme circumstances like the Bailey Simonson one where it's just like, it's so extreme that you just have to, but it doesn't have to be so black and white.
Surely there's a gray area that we can land in that kind of, you know, we keep some semblance of, you know, essentially it feels like we're going to get raced to the bottom where if you ever get injured while running the ball,
you get a penalty against you.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, so I'm not sure what direction we go with the hip drop because I get where the NRL is coming from.
I get where fans are coming from, injured players.
But I also get the idea that the definition has changed so much and it's so vague that it's gone from a specific technique all the way to essentially if you land on the back of someone's legs, that is a hip drop.
That's how far it's gone, which is like, I just, I mean, there was even a penalty that didn't land on the back of his legs.
He just pulled him back and it looked awkward.
He got a penalty against him and didn't land on the back of his legs.
How's that a hip drop?
Yeah, it's crazy.
And sometimes someone gets put in an awkward position playing rugby league.
This idea that we can coach the injuries out of rugby league, it is never going to happen.
Never, ever.
And that one I couldn't believe because there was literally a replay showing that he didn't land on the back of his legs.
