It's gonna sound like I'm contradicting myself here.
The weird thing is though, is I'm a big believer in you earn the right to have a say.
And even if you disagree or certain things aren't going at the right at the moment, Madge has earned the right to run things exactly how he wants to run them for at least the next year or two, for the least next year or two.
So the tough thing is, is that even let's say that the playing group is a bit fatigued or mentally switched off or whatever, you still have to get on board because he's done enough to get behind and get around.
If this continues into next year, then obviously we can have a different conversation, but like he's done enough.
He won a premiership.
He won a premiership.
It's like that simple.
Yeah.
And so like, that's why it's so hard to untangle because like, unfortunately, this is a pattern for Michael Maguire.
He arrives at the Tigers, he gets them to ninth.
They get progressively worse each year.
The Rabbitohs took a little bit longer, three years to get to that premiership, but you should have won in 13, but you could have got close.
Crazy.
Yeah, absolutely.
And so again, this is the crux of the whole situation.
So does this playing group have a pattern of one really good year, one poor year, one, so, you know, 2023, then obviously 2024 rolls around.
So it's very hard to pinpoint who is accountable for this to a degree, you know, like, is it this playing group that just seems to not react consistently or is it Michael Maguire has, this is just his coaching style.
Like,
He's so, he's essentially the GOAT at getting plexed up.
