So I would say that's one way, but also depending on what your trade is and depending on how confident you are in your ability to do that on your own, you can go to a place where your people are
And not only seek employment, but seek entrepreneurship so that you can provide these skill sets to people that look like you and people that don't look like you.
You know, your business can be sustained by dealing with people that are middle and upper class.
But, you know, find somewhere where you can go once or twice a month and spend time in community with people.
Sometimes, especially in a place like Michigan, that may be some Somalian niggas.
That may be some Indians.
That may be some more of your Hispanic buddies or your black buddies.
But you're going to have to find a space of getting away from whiteness in general.
But you have to be around like-minded people who are not trying to assimilate to whiteness.
Right?
I understand what that struggle is, because when I was on the road and I was trucking, you're gonna get into some places where you're gonna spend a lot of time around white people.
When I worked in Erie, Pennsylvania, I spent a lot of time around the whites.
But the thing is, is that I don't do no code switching.
And you always, here's the thing, there's always gonna be one white boy, a white man, whatever the case may be, that you can kinda figure out, y'all got the similar banter.
You know what I mean?
It's always going to be the white boy that's a little racist.
It's always going to be one trying to get their jokes off.
You kind of got to go directly at them.
I don't take no shit from white people.
But it was this white dude named Leon, man.
