It's what our experience has been.
To be shocked and appalled, that's just a slap in our face.
And then when we call out the hypocrisy, you got the nerve to want to criticize us.
You got the nerve to sit up and hold your phone up and say, black Americans, for all of you saying this isn't your fight, to act like you don't know what we mean when we say that.
Because when are black people not going to advocate for our oppressed people?
All the news that I'm learning about Minneapolis and what's going on is from black creators.
and some new white creators whose empathy just clocked in and are now popping up to cover the news.
And some of the OG white creators who've always been involved, but likely were radicalized by the genocide in Palestine.
We've been fighting this fight since we've been here.

went silent, then we know a lot of our deaths will go silent as well.
The deaths of all these migrant men that have been killed since, whether they were legal or illegal, have been silent.
We haven't heard their names at all.
But they've always brutalized black people, so you never thought it would happen to you.
And now that it happened to you, you want everybody to be all hands on deck.
No, your hands is on the deck.
This is a reckoning.
This is that white wake up call.
