You know, so, you know, picked up to eight more years.

So I ended up doing 24 years instead of 16.

It's hard to...

get transferred from High Desert to another prison, like a lower level, short of hurting a cop.

You know, that's your fast way of getting out of there.

And I told the counselor, I was like, I'm not going to be able to go to a lower level.

I'm not going to even have a chance of getting out of prison.

Because I kind of came to those terms by the yards I was on that I was never going to get out.

But I just asked my counselor, what do I got to do to go to a better yard?

Because we're constantly locked down.

They call them 10-day rollouts.

They would wait for three stabbings.

Once three stabbings happen, boom, they lock you down for 10 days, they rip apart all the buildings, and then boom.

You're back up.

And then usually in 10 days, this is how bad it is, about 10 days, somebody got disrespected through a cell van, something.

And we're coming out, somebody's getting stabbed again.

She said, just try to, you know, program and do what you can.

Well, we went on a lockdown, long lockdown.
