I was working for Lee Filter.
Didn't like working for them.
I won't say why.
Maybe I'll get sued or something.
Just horrible.
And then my brother-in-law hired me to do patchwork and road work, asphalt and stuff like that.
And it just wasn't sticking.
I couldn't work for...
assholes, pretty much.
They just degrade you, talk to you a certain way.
You do this, you know, they just get at you crazy.
And I'm not used to that.
You know, I'm used to something totally different.
So it's all like PTSD mental shit.
So a friend of the family came and told me, Ron Claiborne, he's the owner of Claiborne Heating and Air, and he was like, Derek, I know, man, I know how you are, and how about you come on board to Claiborne, you be my partner, I give you 10%, and be my business partner.
And I was like, cool.
And he was like, let's see what you do.
So I'm already getting acclimated with this phone, right, with social media and all that stuff.
And I was like, right on, cool.
So I started getting used to it.
