A lot of people look at my career in the NFL, 13 years, and say, man, all-time leading tackler, four Pro Bowls, a couple All-Pro seasons, you got some records, you got this and that.
My turning point was going through adversity.
If you can fight through something that doesn't favor you, it has great benefits.
You know, life is 10% of what happens to you, 90% on how you respond.
So being able to respond the right way during that 2009 season was a big deal.
And every year after that, it's not a coincidence that I had some kind of Pro Bowl status after that 2009 season.
So it's okay when you go through adversity.
You know, that's not to hurt you or to make you fail.
It's actually to get you better, if you can fight through it.
So that's what football is all about, getting knocked down and standing back up.
And I'm a real testament to that now, being in the Chiefs Hall of Fame.
What we are witnessing for this second term is an administration that's much smarter than the first term.
They have people who are much more capable.
They spend the last four years prior to coming to office studying government in a way in which they knew many of the pressure points to hit.
And it's having a very negative impact on American citizens.
Race is a tool, a distraction.
The tax policy bill that was passed last year was the crown jewel.
And that crown jewel was a fight that started back in 1932.
