But... She told them that her kids were with me for the summer. She got them back August 1st. That's what she was telling everybody, is that I had them for the summer. Told them that once they started to catch on a little bit, that... Everything was going to be wiped clean. It was all my fault. I was the one that did everything.

I was the one that was giving the kids the medicine and they had her attorney had the evidence to prove it. And I'm like, I found all this out during the sentencing trial while we were there. And I'm like, are you kidding me? You're still trying to blame me. Yeah. Like you still cannot take responsibility for your actions.

And that's what I was telling the DA's office. I'm like, look, she's always gotten away with a slap on her hand all the way through life. Her family's always bailed her out. Her uncle's always been there to bail her out. I was like, until she gets hit with the harsh reality that there's consequences for your actions, she's never going to change.
