What must I be?
What do I have to be?
Again, especially men, but not always, because men were the species, the male species got chosen by the female species.
Most people don't know this evolutionarily.
because you were the one with the most resources, the most conquering ability, the best dance, the colorful feathers.
And so if you could dance and conquer and have resources, you got picked.
So that's also in our blood and in our DNA.
But if you just ask if I could just be me, what I really want, you gotta dig sometimes.
You gotta be patient, because it's not gonna come necessarily in a blinding flash.
and then once you get a sense of like oh my god you know like howard thurman who is dr king's mentor he says don't ask what the world wants ask what makes you come alive and do that because what the world really needs are people who have come alive and there's something that makes you come most alive
And if you're willing to keep farrowing those breadcrumbs, what makes me come alive?
What are the conversations?
What are the movies, the books, the activities, the hobbies, or the moments in my job, if any?
And you start to piece it together and start to formulate a sense of, gosh, when I'm, you
and and we're talking about politics whatever like i'm so alive and then you're like but what am i going to do in this world it's like i mean you ever thought about doing a podcast in nature talking about politics with with friends you know like literally that's how jay rogan started not in nature but that's that's the seed of greatness more often than you would think
I'm just using that as a silly example.
But there's a practical thing is we have to be willing to make time to think for ourselves, to ask these questions.
What am I really here for?
Or what do I really want?
If I could be anything, do anything, make any difference and do it in any way I wanted or anywhere I wanted or with anyone I wanted, what would that be?
