We're about to go make death notification to the family.

I remember going to my mom's house to wait for the police, so I know Biggers and Carter were coming.
And then that's when they informed us that they had found her remains.
It was the hardest thing that I've ever done, and to this day, it still, obviously, you can see that it still sticks with me.
Unfortunately, because of the way the body was disposed of, we have no indication of what happened to Susana.
But what the medical examiner also determined very quickly was that there was also absolutely no evidence of any clothing that had been on Susana prior to her being left there.
And that was significant, because with an accidental death, it would be very unlikely, nearly unheard of, for Susana to not be dressed, to not be clothed.
And so that immediately told us that we suspected this was a homicide.
I remember Carter promising me that she would find out what happened and who did it.
