the situation there was they went to daniel jones and said look we want you back and his camp said okay but he's the starter and you're like no you're not the starter we'll let you come out and compete but you're not the starter and so daniel jones's camp was like well we're gonna go to indy because we know we'll start like we know the situation there anthony richardson is not going to beat out daniel jones that's how confident they felt that daniel jones could win it he knew he could be the starter so he went

Right.

So now that's two ifs.

And I say with because now we have the intel.

I did not think Daniel Jones would be this good.

I did not know that they would look like the Philadelphia Eagles this year.

Right.

Then you've got the Aaron Rodgers scenario.

where Aaron Rodgers is available.

He's putting out all the smoke signals of, hey, I want to play for you.

And there was considerable conversations in Minnesota about signing Aaron Rodgers.

This was not just Rodgers calling Kevin going, I want to play for you.

They talked about it and they were weighing it heavily.

And they made the decision as a group that they don't want to go in that direction, that they want to go all in on J.J.

McCarthy.

And so now they're living with that.

And it's just going to take some time.
