And I said, oh, you know, I'm actually recently engaged.
My husband, you know, this is my fiance.
We're getting married next year.
And this was, again, during COVID where everyone thought the world was coming to an end.
And he put me on the spot and he's like, why are you waiting?
And we're like, well, we want to have a wedding.
Well, why?
If you love each other, you should just do it now.
And we're like, well, we're not going to do it now because it's Luke's baptism.
But OK, maybe.
And then just on the drive home, Kevin and I were like, maybe he's right.
Like, forget the wedding.
Like, so we canceled our wedding and we got married a month later.
And we did it on a Saturday during the season.
And I went back to work the next day.
Who's Polish and doesn't speak very good English.
And just like, yeah, he's an interesting fellow.
I love him, though.
And I'm grateful, though.
I'm grateful because we saved thousands of dollars on some, you know, we were getting married.
