But from a timeline and from an upshot perspective, you could 100% sell me on Brian Thomas Jr.

wants to just run deep outside the numbers and catch those lofted balls in the air over the shoulder.

If he is more of a move-around piece in this new iteration of Philadelphia's offense, and I think a guy like that vertically, if you're able to access him vertically, it means you're probably hurting less for a guy like Dallas Goddard, who at his best was doing a lot of work after the catch.

It means that things might be loosened up a little bit for Saquon Barkley and the rest of this running game.

So I do think that you can sell me on what the best version of this can be.

Brown in a Jags uniform, and maybe this is unfair because the Jags have not been very competitive over my lifetime, is that he's there and he's just been in his 30s kind of catching 70 passes for 980 yards and six touchdowns and kind of pro bowler.

And Brian Thomas Jr.

gets those two or three weeks where he absolutely blows up the Cowboys and blows up the Commanders and then doesn't do anything in the divisional round when you absolutely need him to.

And I think that that will probably be ultimately what the story of a trade like this would be, which is why I think maybe it could happen.
