So what happened, it's really fascinating.
I read, you know, one of the champion jockeys, certainly one of the two best.
He said one, two in some order.
In the U.S., that would be the order.
He won four of the final major prep races on different horses.
Full effort for Brad Cox, commandment for Brad Cox in the Florida Derby, further ado for Cox at the Bluegrass.
And he also won the Arkansas Derby on Renegade for Todd Pletcher.
And he ended up choosing Renegade.
He and his agent got together, and that was the decision they made.
And some people are saying, well, that must mean Renegade's automatically better.
Well, it doesn't work that way.
It is horse racing, and sometimes jockeys will make mistakes.
And I think ultimately what the decision came down to, and I'm sure he thinks Renegade's the best horse, he and his agent go way back with Todd Pletcher and Mike Rapoli, the owner.
I think there was a loyalty factor, and that's why he decided that way.
Yeah, the last I heard on the weather, we should be okay.
Should have a fast track on Saturday.
I mean, there's been some rain around all week, but I think we should be good by Saturday.
The post positions are one of those kind of imponderable things.
You can spend hours looking at it and then go, well, this should happen.
