Now the Assistant can produce something much more useful than a generic campaign update.

It can produce work that fits the task, the history, the facts, and the process.

That is the real promise of memory in AI Agents.

Not, the AI remembers everything.

That sounds less like productivity and more like a surveillance-themed horror film.

The promise is, the AI remembers the right things in the right category and uses them for the right task.

This is also why a longer context window is not the same as proper memory.

A longer context window means the AI can look at more information at once.

That is useful.

But it is not the same as knowing what should be stored, what should expire, what is a fact, what is a past event, what is a procedure, and what is only relevant for the current task.

Giving an AI more context without structure is like giving a junior employee a warehouse full of documents and saying, the answer is in there somewhere.
