I'm very fascinated to see what it looks like tonight, if they can even it up 1-1 heading back to Montreal.
I do think this is going to be a very long and very competitive series.
Ultimately, they're in a good spot just because they really were proactive about signing pretty much all these guys long-term.
And Demidov's the only guy who doesn't have a long-term extension.
But by the time he expires, some of these veterans like Gallagher, Deneau, Josh Anderson are going to be coming off the books.
uh cap space and flexibility to keep adding and keep spending and they don't necessarily have you know any premium picks left because they have been making the playoffs the past two seasons but we'll see I know um
Reinbacher might provide something for them and based on where they picked him even if it's not a top pair defenseman like another just asset that they can use so I think the the thing that matters the most is from that front office we've seen and they've been pretty decisive about
self-evaluating where they're at not kind of getting ahead of their skis even this season when you could have argued that maybe they should have been more aggressive like kind of taking a long-term view and being like we're not going to push in and spend a bunch of assets on a rental to incrementally improve this year I imagine this summer is going to be the time we're going to really see them make some sort of a push in that regard so
But I think regardless of this result, like similar to what I just said about Anaheim, they're set up pretty nicely in a division that's going to be fascinating to track because you're going to have Florida trying to bounce back.
It's not really, I don't, I'm not privy to your show notes.
I'm not sure if you want to talk about the draft lottery at all.
I was here, but I do think like them and that ninth overall pick.
I'd love to see a betting line on what the odds are.
