yeah i think part of it is also like this is the one series where both teams knew they were playing each other and they prepared for it for like three months right essentially and then put a couple head-to-heads late in the regular season whereas a lot of the other teams were like all right we're just playing this team and we have 48 hours notice and i think the game plans weren't as thorough whereas they really know the ins and outs of each other and it's probably why there's a bit of a stalemate as well fair enough um

I will say, I think almost every series has been pretty hideous from the perspective of every single whistle resulting in a 10-minute scrum.

Where, like, I was watching that Flyers-Penguins game and literally every player on the ice just got a matching roughing penalty.

Yeah.

I was just like...

This clearly is not doing anything.

You may as well start giving out misconducts.

And I know that it sucks not to see the best players on the ice for 10 minutes at a time, but they need to put it to an end because the post whistle stuff is just dragging these games on forever and kind of killing the end.
