They led the league in penalty minutes this year.
Did they lead the league in fighting majors?
They did by like a significant margin.
After losing Curtis Douglas at some point.
I think the battle atop the lineups is going to be fascinating, especially in the games in Montreal with their last change.
I think they're going to actively pursue that Suzuki versus Kucherov matchup with those top two lines and just seeing that power versus power and who wins out and if Montreal is able to
either come out even in those minutes or potentially even win them.
I think that's going to be really good for their chances in Tampa Bay.
I imagine we'll see Cooper try to use that Yanni Gord, Zemgin, Zemgin Skirgenson's combo against Suzuki free up Kucherov.
So I think that battle atop the lineup and then the Habs speed up front against the, the lightning defenseman where I think they are a bit vulnerable, some quick attack goals.
They're probably going to need to do so because they don't have the depth advantage.
They're worse five on five team.
goalie and Vasilevsky like the Lightning do so they're going to need to be opportunistic and if anyone can pull it off I think it's them we've seen them score a ton of goals play a lot of high scoring games and they have the second leading goal scorer in the league on their team so I think if anyone's up to the task it's them I'd still pick Tampa Bay but I think it could be like a sneaky competitive long series
I think what I'm watching for, honestly, is just everyone falling in love with the Sabres.
And I have the past couple of years just getting Sabres, Ducks, Mammoth.
