This is like what the nineties sound like.
What happened between 2019 and 2025 is like
20 years of like music has been changing and using and moving and because of the way distribution happens the way kids digest music on tiktok the way my but my children only listen to 15 minutes of songs the way they only listen to songs that are on netflix movies the way that they don't go out to parties anymore so what i just explained to you about djing that doesn't really relate to young people because they don't even experience live music like that um because they watch them on social media
A lot of this generation talking like 10 to like 15, like they're like just on another thing.
Like they're not even, they, they use the internet to receive a lot of information, but they're not like abusing the internet.
Like the 15 to 25 year olds kind of were addicted to it.
They kind of like a little like more.
A shoot into like what it what's bad about the internet was good about it So I'm learning this all because I have like kids all different age ranges and I also know I DJ for kids that are like 18 to 30 and I also You know my friends my peers like 30 to 50 and I see how my dad and my sister listen to music That's like 50 plus so I'm kind of like I see every different person and how they How they find music how they discover music and it's interesting to me.
next generation
I mean, we haven't had like a moment and you probably know this where like everybody listens to one song, right?
I think maybe.
maybe it's very sectioned like the internet is like sectioned people we used to have these zeitgeist records that were just like you know like the Benny era like when like everybody knew what a song was and like this is the song that everybody fucking likes the hip hop scene plays that everybody does is we haven't had that in like six years like maybe Old Town Rose like the last record that was like everybody knows that was maybe Tipsy I guess is another example but where it just crossed every format it's like that's the record of thou like this whole summer has been like what's what is the there's no record there isn't there isn't like I think we're not gonna have that for a while that's gone
Yeah, that's happening, but that's only happening because it's weird because it's a whispered song.
People don't really talk about it, but it's the biggest record of all time, it feels like.
But it's not like we don't talk about it.
I love it.
I love it too, but we're not saying like...
What's the name of the band even?
It's called Huntrix.
They're not like touring.
