Podcast Appearances
Which is kind of like step one, get a ring light, $80.
Yeah.
and like best case scenario say that his kid or whoever did the interview let's say that they somehow had a writer on deck who was able to write 30 topics that were just as good as what the vlad tv team would have came up with it's still about hey you're gonna say something and then what am i gonna say right in the moment because i know plenty of interviewers especially on like the politics side of things etc where to me it sounds like they're just reading questions
off a piece of paper.
And to me, that's a huge turnoff.
Like I need to feel like you're going to be able to hear them say something that's a little bit offensive, a little bit out of bounds, a little bit weird, whatever, even something that's just brilliant and be able to respond appropriately.
And I think that's what really separates the men from the boys in terms of interviews is like, can you think on your feet?
Can you force them to,
to make more sense or be more logical when it actually matters because if you're watching somebody do an interview and the interviewer is just glazing them and just letting them say whatever yeah that's not really going to be as interesting to the people they want to see two heavyweights not do battle but they want to see you performing together and both doing your part
Because the way that you've sort of pioneered doing business with all these different people is that it's almost like you're starting a podcast with them.
However, it's not...
guaranteed frequency.
It's not like, Oh, we're going to do this every week.
It's like, we're going to do this as often as it makes sense, which I think is actually pretty smart.
Cause myself, I've developed multiple weekly podcasts, which is good.
But then the bad side of it is that sometimes it feels like me and whack, like we're kind of burning ourselves out.
Like sometimes it feels like, Oh, maybe this was a little bit more popular in the beginning, but because they've seen us struggle to find topics to hit every week, maybe it doesn't necessarily have the same effect.
oomph that it had when we were just doing because me and wag did do maybe three or four podcasts before we started doing a podcast regularly so i think that that method of doing it as often as you're able to have a good set of questions is kind of smart um but it also just like really opens the door for these people to like feel like they have more power and to keep demanding more money up until the point where it almost makes it not worth it doing it from your perspective
Yeah.
Yeah.
