I've never seen people wearing masks demanding that people show them their papers, be on the right side of history.

The one thing I can say, I've done a lot of shit wrong in my life, but I have been a fairly principled man.

I believe the things I believe.

And I would believe, even if it hadn't been you, that if you weren't the first person to have been arrested because of my affinity for you and my love for you, I would have thought that what they were doing to you is wrong.

And I think that our ids, our stances vacillate depending on how we feel about a person.

You have to have principles whether they align, whether you like what's happening or not.

If we're going to have these amendments where freedom of speech is sacrosanct, freedom of speech has to be sacrosanct whether I believe it, the person who's saying it or not.
