You see Kid Rock at the county fair.
You know what I mean?

You alluded to this earlier, and I think one of the things that this country has not understood is the reason, and this is something I'm saying, and I want you to be able to distance yourself from it, but everything that people love about this country or is aspirational about this country is us.
Culture, music, art, resilience.
Everything they dislike about this country...
is them.
And if you looked at culturally, who was the most culturally influential in this country, it would be black people.
And it's because our stories are imbued in everybody's story with a tapestry of everything.
And I think one of the things, you didn't talk about this earlier, but one of the things that you could not help but do is because you've had these experiences, they color everything you say and everything you see.
You don't have to say you're a black man.
You don't have to say that you're gay.
Everything you do is viewed through that prism, and I think that's bracing for people.
I think that people have a hard time accepting that.
