And they need somebody to blame.
This has been going on since the inception of this country.
So those people are lost.
I take heart by what's happening in Minneapolis.
Those are the kind of white people who would have been, they're literally boots on the ground fighting authoritarianism.
Those are the kind of people.
In zero degree weather.
Yeah, because I'm going to tell you, I love black people.
But if it's minus anything, it's going to be minus me in that movie.
And I think that when you look at these kind of men, this started with George Bush and with this, I just want to have a beer with somebody.
They wanted somebody they could relate to.
They stopped looking for leadership and looking for likability.
It was somebody like me.
I don't need to be like my doctor or be like a tech wizard to know that he has something beneficial for me.
These people in this country feel inherently like somebody took them โ like there used to be a time when they could walk down to the lodge and somebody would give them a job and they could just have all these things.
But they voted for the very people that took that away from them.
And they're looking for somebody to blame.
And so it may well be, just like at a certain age, they start writing black and brown children off if they're not developing in a certain way.
These people, a lot of them are finished in terms of how they can be brought around.
They may be well done because you don't vote for this dude three times.
