So you become interim CEO, and from what I can get, there's like a global recruitment search.

When you're interim CEO, are you doing everything you can, putting your best foot forward, or do you think you're just there for a simple job?

I recorded a podcast last weekend with Rod Drury, the founder of Xero, and his youngest daughter was born the year that he started Xero.

And he was reflecting on his parenting and he said, I was a good dad, but I was never there.

And he said, you can't get the time back.

What does an average day look like for you?

Do you have like a specific morning routine?

What is your morning?

I know you like running, eh?

Yeah, I do like running.

I heard that you run and then whenever there's a hill, you generally like make a phone call.

Yeah, there's always.

You walk up the hill and do some business.

Is it hard to not spoil him?

as much enjoyment for me as it is him but I know it's not great in the long term so I need to watch that again you and I are similar age and the toys that we had when we were kids were pretty shitty to be fair you see some of the advancements and the toys now that are controlled by your phone or whatever it's amazing it is

So the child in all of us, I think, wants to get those things.

Are you familiar with the term imposter syndrome?

Was that something for you in the early days?
