It's funny, something that sprung to mind a second ago when you were talking about the beard and just doing everything right.

I had one of your coaches, Steve Hansen, on the podcast last year, and he used an analogy about a dirty window, and you clean the window but not the corners.

Yeah, the corners.

Have you heard that one from him before?

You don't just have one.

You definitely do extra.

You even have extra four words in your book.

Most people just have one.

You've got three.

Four words from Robbie Deans, Joe Schmidt, and Wayne Bennett.

And Wayne Bennett calls you principled.

That's the word he used.

What did he mean?

Yeah, I'm not sure.

It's a huge compliment.

you know character so to have those guys talk about you is uh crazy yeah yeah some of the coaches that you've played for there's um ted who um who um thought you were too old initially we might get into that later ageism uh there's um the professor sir wayne smith sir steve anson robbie deans joe schmidt uh razor did razor coach you at the crusaders
