And in our poll, Democrats have a nine-point advantage in our poll on the question of which party's candidate are you more likely to vote for in your district.
Again, with the economy being the top concern, waging war overseas certainly doesn't help Trump make a case that he's focused on the economy and that it's his top concern.
He's going to try to do that today with stops in Ohio and Kentucky where he's going to talk about the economy, but he rarely stays focused on that.
And making matters worse for him, the war has already driven up oil and gas prices, as we've been talking about.
Democrats started with an advantage in the election because of prices in the economy.
Controversies around Trump's immigration policies, the Epstein files, have only given Democrats more fodder.
And I'm Domenico Montanaro, senior political editor and correspondent.
Well, you know, 56% of people said that they oppose the military action in Iran.
36%, only 36% approve of Donald Trump's handling of it.
And 55%, a majority, said that Iran represents only a minor threat or no threat at all.
And we should say that this poll was conducted during the first week of the bombing.
It sure does.
And I think that we've seen a lot of things this way where the numbers are pretty baked in when it comes to Trump and the kinds of actions that he's taking, especially highly controversial actions where you have a pretty sizable percentage of people who are strongly disapproving of things that he's doing.
And then a very locked in portion of his base.
More than 80 percent of Republicans in this survey approve of military action in Iran.
And 79 percent of Republicans approve of the job that he's doing in handling Iran.
That's so interesting.
Yeah.
And the new chosen leader is the son of the former supreme leader who was killed in these attacks in the early days.
So there's no indication here that Iran is going to be
