These companies, you know, the big companies, Nike, Under Armour, all these guys would send their athletes, you know, the specialty shoe, you know, the special design.

And then it was like, I think guys just wanted the individuality of it.

And so, you know, the league caught word of that and saw that people were, you know,

Not breaking the rules, but just we're asking to get a little bit more leniency in the style of things.

And next thing you know, yeah, I think it was like 2017, 2018 where it really kind of opened up.

Yep.

We were lucky enough.

Um, you know, at least I say we, you know, as in the Northeast guys, cause we had quite a, quite, quite a few.

Um, our head coach, Jack Leggett was originally a Northeast guy.

Um, was, you know, he, he had some time up in Maine and Vermont.

And so, um,

he really reached that, uh, that area of the country.

Um, you know, now that I live in South Carolina, it's funny cause I hear all the, the old stories about how they wish Jack recruited the area better, meaning South Carolina.

Um, but I'm like, Hey, I, I wouldn't have got there if he did that.

So, you know,

Props to him for taking that risk and taking a chance on us cold weather guys.
