I wonder if she will ever suffer any sort of consequence for doing what she did and basically acting, as you say, as Donald Trump's really his personal attorney.

You said you have to investigate, but do you believe that she possibly went after people for political reasons?

Did you watch the president's address to the nation regarding the war in Iran?

And did you learn anything new for it or get any sort of justification as to why we are there?

got to ask you a question and let's talk politics if you will for a while just yeah because the whole thing about politics you want to win right the the key the game is to win um and so i hear from people on the hill about the democrats that um they are concerned that donald trump the republicans they're taking um the spotlight

uh from the media spotlight from democrats because there's always something donald trump's giving a speech donald trump is in the oval office caroline levitt is doing her thing or whatever there's some bombastic thing that steals the news cycle and i'm wondering and i thought about it i'm wondering why not every day why aren't you guys holding your own press conference and maybe you are behind the scenes and i don't know it but updating the american people why aren't you giving the sort of um you know

anti or or what do you call it the response as you do during the state of the union every single day to a lot of this bullshit that the president puts out and caroline levitt every single day like there should be some sort of sort of war room that puts the democrats in the spotlight and gets their message message out without being overshadowed or drowned out by the maga message that's coming from the the bully pulpit

i agree look james carville said it's the economy stupid and i think bill clinton um gauged you know what his presidency and public opinion around gas prices and so i think you're in a good spot right now especially with the anti-war sentiment in the country you see most americans don't agree with this war um donald trump's approval is dropping precipitously by the minute and i think you guys are in a really good position to uh to sort of claim and to get the narrative

And I'm not saying that for Democratic or Republican reasons.

I'm saying that because I care about the country.

And the only party right now I believe that's fighting for the democracy is the Democrats.

And so I want to see you guys do well and get your message out there.
