A serviceable player, certainly a star earlier in his career, but serviceable on the ice late in his career, but a real leader, just a reeked leader from day one.

And he left Montreal, joined the Vancouver Canucks, and that seemed to work.

And that's when Pavel Burry and Trevor Linden were very, very young players.

And Ryan, I think, was an important part.

And we all played a couple of seasons together.

Didn't play in that 94 team, but he played in the two seasons before that, and it really, really worked.

And I think everybody wants this.

I don't think there's any way that, you know, Brandon Gallagher is going to hurt the Vancouver Canucks.

And, you know, for further precedent, how about last year with Evander Kane?

The Canucks tried that, tried bringing the hometown kid home, the former Vancouver Giant home.

It didn't work, but I get what they were thinking, what they were hoping for.

I think this is similar.

He plays a different game, of course, than Evander Kane.

Brendan Gallagher has always been about courage, hustle, and leadership beyond his skill set.

And I think that's something the Canucks could use an injection of.

So I'd be all for it, and I don't think I'm alone in that.
