Black identity must find independence.
Followers are encouraged to defend themselves by any means necessary.
I mean, this is where I mentioned at the top made a lot of people uncomfortable because in his direct forthright nature, he was calling out things that are obvious to us today, but at the time were not.
And they were very uncomfortable for a lot of people.
And he became a very dangerous figure in many white Americans eyes.
I mean, it is in part the language he uses.
He labels white people as evil and black people superior to white people.
I mean, he's really drawing this line that is very bold and very distinguished.
But I hasten to add, he is undeniably sophisticated, intelligent, humorous.
Even at the time when he was supposedly scaring me, this guy is a compelling individual.
And that's what you see when you watch anything you can watch.
And I invite people to do that.
He's an amazing human being.
And you know that when he walks in the room.
