John Shire announced yesterday on that ACC weekly press conference that he suffered a non-contact injury a couple of weeks ago in practice.

And they're basically making a decision that it's, I guess, serious enough that they didn't mention any surgery, didn't mention any details about

But it it seems like he's going to be out the rest of the year.

Unfortunate for him.

And maybe they're setting himself up for a medical redshirt to come back next year.

That has obviously that's early.

So I don't want to speculate on that.

But what is true is he will not be with the team for the rest of the season.

Very, very unfortunate that a non-contact injury ends the season prematurely.

Yeah, and again, he may not get as much playing time, but as you mentioned, Scott, he is a big, big part of all the success that we have here.

Not just before he got injured, but also after.

He's still going to be a part of the team, just not playing or suiting up for the games.
