This game, he was slower to adapt to the in-game adjustments than Texas Tech was.

From the three-point shooting, and again, in the arena, it didn't feel like we went so cold in the second half that we had not made a shot for basically the 18-minute mark of the second half until Caden's shot was under a minute left.

It didn't feel like that.

But...

That's where you have a bench of people with all these guys that have these numbers in front of you.

So you go, hey, look, coach, it's been six minutes.

We haven't made a three.

Like, let's figure out a way to get the ball inside because they can't guard both Pat and Malik and Cam at the same time.

They just can't.

They don't.

They only have one guy.

And he's the JT top of number 15.

Coach is over there on the bench because he has he has three fouls like that.

Those are the things that you need to recognize in that in that moment.

But it's also a testament to Josh saying, you know, he trusts his guys to get out of that situation.

But there's got to be an adult point where he goes, OK, they're not getting themselves out of the situation.

I, as the coach, have to make this adjustment.

And that's where we ultimately fell a little bit short.

I didn't realize that, which was hard to fathom until the end of the game.
