This multi-year deal that Mensa is trying to get out of is going to signal the end of multi-year deals if this case goes a particular direction.
No school is going to offer it because they'll just say, oh, well, guys are going to attempt to break it after a couple years.
And no player will enter into it because they're going to want the flexibility to negotiate a higher salary after a year.
Now, I'll also say this.
One thing people need to keep in mind, that this is not a unilateral contract.
Contracts are meant to protect both parties.
