We had been in the 40s the past few games.
And again, most of that was due to the fact that we were pounding the paint.
And against Pitt, we did the same thing.
We had 36 paint points.
But we weren't shooting as well from outside.
That, of course, in the second half took a turn.
And hitting a lot of those shots, especially those open looks, were great.
I think guys were doing a great job at pump fakes.
Second passes, we had a lot of hockey assists going on in the second half with regards to the three-point shooting.
A lot of it was based off of hustle drills where you guys get hustling for a loose ball, tipping it to somebody who then made a pass to an open guy for a shot.
We were able to make Pitt pay on those type of plays.
And in the past β
We'd have some of those good plays, at least the past like five or six games, we'd have some of those good plays only for the shot to go wanting.
And so you see, oh, that was a really good play.
I think there's a couple of games ago where you and I had the same play that we didn't pick for play of the game because it resulted in a missed shot.
Like, oh, if this had gone down, it would have been it would that would have been it.
So this time around, we had a lot of those kind of hockey plays where one guy does the hustle, one guy grabs a loose ball, flicks it to another guy who passes it to the guy who makes the shot.
So I really liked the ball movement in the second half that led to a lot of our good plays.
And I just think as the game went along, despite the fact that Pitt was still hitting a lot of shots that they normally don't,
