So, again, the showtime-ness of Slim was present last night, and that is part of the momentum that he can bring, not just to himself, but the team.
Well, it's funny.
I think last night he played bigger than he knows he is, right?
He's one of the bigger guards in the ACC, bigger point guards especially.
And there's definitely times where he plays around contact, and we've talked about this, playing around contact versus through contact.
When he goes downhill and he does not care about his own body or the fact that someone's going to try and maul him on the way to the rack,
he does more, he does better than he does when he tries to avoid that contact by going around it.
You've seen it in some of the shots, some of the layups that he takes.
When he goes right at somebody, he usually goes in.
I'm not a scientist or have the metrics in front of me, but I bet to say that...
When he goes at a guy right in front of the rim, his percentage is a lot higher than when he tries to Olay and, you know, do something cool around him, around the contact to try and lay it in because the angle is just not there.
He had a couple of times where he went straight at the guy and still did something creative.
He did that under the basket type of rotation.
But I like the fact that he has been more aggressive with it.
Last night, Jason, he talked about in the postgame, he talked about the fact that because Pat Gong was out, I'm sure we'll talk about that in a little bit, the fact that he was out meant that his rebounding was gone.
He wanted to pick that up.
A couple games ago when he was deathly sick and he still played, what did he do, Jason?
He had a career high in rebounds that day.
