That's my point is the emotional part of this is I hate that Mensah did this at the 11th hour because the fact that he did has prompted Duke to thrust itself into this national conversation, probably in a way that they didn't want to via the courts.
They want to be the leaders that being proactive about making NIL beneficial for all parties instead of forcing their way through legal measures.
And I think that's the that's the long and short of it is that Derry meant to put Duke in a very, very bad situation.
