The fact that they were contributing on so many different levels, the defense was there, keeping guys in front of them, and it felt like a lot of the hustle plays that I mentioned that we were able to do involved Nick Kaminia or Darren Harris.

They may not have ended with them with the ball, but the hustle plays where we ended up winning possession, it involved one of those two guys getting on the floor and getting active.

And again, when you're sacrificing your body physically,

knowing that there's no one behind you to back you up, right?

Like, if you get hurt, if Darren Hare gets hurt, there's nobody else coming off the bench.

He's the last one before you reach your Jack and Cam Sheffield, right?

But for him to go for a broke on some of these and keep the plays alive or give us the ball and give us an opportunity to go score, those are championship-winning plays.

You don't have to put that in the stat book for me to know that those guys played tremendous last night at keeping our hopes alive when it looked like Virginia was going to mount to run.

And that's why their plus-minus, it reads that way.

It reads that these guys, they came, they ready to play, and they did something positive to help us win.

The last person that I had really in the good to talk about was the fact that Cameron Boozer overcame a very difficult first half, and in some ways a difficult second half, to still produce in the ways that we know him to produce, right?

13 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, and the steal is like paltry numbers for him when you think about it.

But I feel like, again...

He never lost confidence in himself.

He kept going.

He kept fighting.

And there were times where he broke through.

It was almost like at Jurassic Park, the Raptors testing defense.
