Virginia only one game behind us in the standings, despite how good we've been playing lately.

This is an easy trap game. So let's not make it a trap game. Let's avoid the letdown. I think the fact that they went to Chicago and didn't go back to campus and kind of revel in the high of the Michigan game and just said, hey, this is a business trip. We're going to keep going on our next stop of business. I think that was a good thing to kind of say, hey, we enjoyed this win. That's cool. But once we get on this plane.

Plane equals business trip mindset focused. So I like the fact that they just went ahead and went straight to Chicago and then now to South Bend to just continue that business trip. So hopefully they're staying focused and avoiding that letdown. The one thing, Jason, you also mentioned.

Teams that have beaten Notre Dame recently have really done a great job of moving the ball around. The assist rate, as you mentioned, is very high on defense for Notre Dame. They allow a lot of teams to get three pointers and also just open looks off of the pass.

Let's continue to make those happen. Should we not knock down our threes? That's cool. Because again, we can still try to hammer them inside. But I think switching the ball around a team that's not going to go for steals means that you can pass the ball around and get the open look that you're looking for. So in a spot that you want to be in. So I'm looking at those three things, Jason, and anything else that you have before we close out the Notre Dame game.

a middling Notre Dame team because the ACC road can bite you at any moment. Look, as again, despite their record, they're nine and five at home. And as you mentioned over the years, they have played not just Duke, but any top team tough at home. And we've had some battles under Mike Bray, under Michael Shrewsbury.
